Sleeper/Dud: A Game with Andy and Kareem

1B:

Andy (Sleeper): Dodo Berger, not the most mechanically sound 1B on the board, but he plays a huge role on his team.

Kareem (Dud): Goobarey Spitsir: Goobs is a very solid player, but he probably not even the best player on his team who has too many buzzers already for fantasy. Don't get me wrong he's solid, but at an average pick of 6.9, he is way overvalued.

2B

Kareem (Sleeper): ZZZ Sleep is 9th on the boards because he's had some problems with misses, but in a PPB league especially I'd take him. Way too much action from the youngster to be chosen 9th.

Andy (Dud): Bubba Ngunye: The recent contract disputes between McGumfrey and Bubba, make me unsure about this star.

3B

Andy (Sleeper): HSPQX: "The QRW man is fast than ever" says Orlando coach Geroulakos. With the team already looking to trade Bonobo Garamande for a 3rd round specialist, you know this 3B is going to excel in the first two rounds. Now away from Edmonton and in SF, Kikkikkki is another good pickup at 3B.

Kareem (Dud): Ivan Markova is the #3 on the board, but dont be fooled by his position. He is mile behind Max, and Valerd.

4B

Kareem (Sleeper) Bistro Kazuma is the #1 player on the board, but hes still a sleeper. He's the only 4th buzzer i feel really confident about this season. Worth a second or third round pick in my opinion.

Andy (Dud) Jarome Lettuce at #5 on the boards is the dud of the year. With a solid 5B, I doubt Honolulu will utilize him. Even if they do his B:M ratio is the lowest in the division. I'd much rather take a younger guy like Kermit Fu @ number 11, then take this veteran that many older players fall back on.

5B

Andy (Sleeper) CJ Pickett, Mordechai Chameschilverschteinefeldengoldenberger. When selecting a 5B, its important to select a player who will get playing time. These two seem like the two best bets to start frequently this season.

Kareem (Dud) Zach Thomas Dont be fooled by his impressive individual career. This stud is a dud, because he wont play more than 3 rounds this year.

Defense

Kareem (Sleeper) Utah This team has balance all around, plays an easy schedule, and held Vancouver to an impressive 30 pts in the preseason.

Andy (Dud) San Francisco What a fucking bad team.

What to do with new teams?

With unfamiliar players coming into the league on the Lokal Celebs, you may be wondering weather the teams stars are studs or duds. Have no fear- I am here as always to break it down.

Ryan Clark- Yes he's my brother, and yes, therefore its hard for me to judge, but I like this guy. In a team needing leadership and a solid #1, Clark seems to be the most likely guy to fill the spot. It isn't worth having him as your starting 1B or Util, but at #12 on the 1B list, Clark is not a bad last or second to last pick.

Frizzyhead Watkins- He might not hold his starting position and it is difficult to say were "Da Frizz" will land on the statistics board. Don't risk drafting him, but keep an eye on him just in case.

Sleepy T-Rexx- A risky pick, but the possible QRW man for the new team. I'm not going for him, but I've seen him fall in the 8th and 9th rounds by players who value "Sleepy"'s speed.

Freakosuave Foster- A very bad pick. Starting out with the noseclose in the opening preseason game, Foster doesn't look good for the season. 4t buzzers on new teams are always questionable cause you can't be sure they are going to play a lot. Stay away.

C.J. Pickett- Any new 5th buzzer is a steal. It's very possible hell be starting at the end of the season. I haven't seen much of this guy, but if he's there in the late rounds, pick him up.

In general be careful with these guys. If you pick one up, make sure they have a dependable backup. Good luck.
